This month’s workshop is designed to help improve balance and stability.
More than one in four people age 65 years or older fall each year. Studies have shown that exercises that improve balance and make your legs stronger, lower your chances of falling. Many older adults fear falling, even if they haven’t fallen before. In our “Fall Prevention” workshop, you will gain tools for improving steadiness and confidence with the goal of reducing your risk of falling so you can remain active.
