We explore why the feet are the foundation for our stance and how we can deepen our attention to and awareness of our feet. All of our body alignment comes from the foundation we set with our feet. Let’s build a stronger foundation together!

Week 2
Building on stabilization and simple movements, we move through how to step with ease and use our hips to be steady while walking. With homework practice, students will be working towards creating suppleness of the body for sustained movement with minimal effort.

Week 3
Integration of the components learned in week 1 & 2 will encourage students to visualize the ease in being able to move in the world without fear and with a newfound effortlessness in day-to-day life. With each step, the goal is to begin to feel more confident and sure footed, gaining more self-assured mobility thanks to the techniques learned from Better Balance.
